Daniel has started to desire a little privacy when using the bathroom.  Typically that means that only Mommy is allowed to be in the room and only then if I am needed for help cleaning up.  Today Daniel went into the bathroom, and Jack (as always) was right behind him.  I was watching carefully to see how this was going to play out, ready to step in if necessary.  A few second later, Daniel led Jack out by his hand and gently said, “I need ‘pribacy’ in the bathroom, Jack.”  Then he went back in and closed the door behind him.  I had to remind Jack to wait outside the door, but I was so encouraged to see Daniel treat Jack with such kindness and respect even though I know that it’s starting to frustrate him a little.  Just a cute little moment I thought I’d share 🙂
